Dr. Samuel Burris is the founder of The Bancroft Urban Survival System (B.U.S. System), based in Atlanta, GA.  He has a 40-year history in martial science. In September 2025, at the age of 45, he was awarded the title of 10th dan (Grand Master) under Dr. Leonard Holifield. Dr. Sam has also received his Doctorate of Martial Science. Because of his skill set, he has dedicated 20 plus years to Executive Protection, Bodyguarding, assisted child recovery, and community building and support. Dr. Sam's goal and focus are to heal the community of fear and dependence on others. To restore pride in self and reestablish family bonds.
