World Freedom Day Parade

Time: 10:00 AM
Location: Parade route starts at Highland Avenue and concludes at 10th Street near Piedmont Park.

We encourage all children and teens ages 10 and older to join us in the parade if they are available. To help ensure everyone's safety and comfort, we are asking younger children to sit this event out so they do not become overly tired or dehydrated during the walk.  (Please confirm with Dr. Sam, everyone who will be participating).

If you are not participating in the parade, we would still love your support! Please consider:

🎉 Coming out to Piedmont Park to cheer on the BUS System.
💧 Donating a case of bottled water to help keep our participants hydrated.


For all parade participants:

👕 Wear your BUS System shirt
​🖤 Pair it with black bottoms
👟 Wear comfortable walking shoes
🧴 Apply sunscreen (optional)
🧢 Bring or wear a hat for sun protection
😊 Have fun!
